White, red, rose. Yes, there are three types of wine. But is there? Yes there is. There’s much more to wine however. For instance, did you know it comes from grapes? I had no idea. Wait, why are you laughing, I really didn’t know that. I’m not an idiot, you’re an idiot. And you smell.
All the secrets of wine will be revealed during your visit to the Three Choirs Vineyard on the beautiful Gloucestershire and Herefordshire border. While there, you’ll take the vineyards and winery tour, learning all about how this fabulous liquid goes from grape to glass. Set in glorious countryside, you may see a bit of wildlife too.
Plus, you’ll get to adopt your very own vine. A nameplate of your choice will be placed on a vine for a whole year. Comedy names on the nameplate such as Mike Rotch, M. Onkey or Hugh Jass will not be appreciated. You’ll enjoy a delicious glass of Three Choirs Vineyard wine as the naming ceremony takes place.
Then, to continue the wine action, there will be a wine tasting session. A vineyard wine expert will run you through all the bouquets and flavours of your selected vino. Three Choirs Vineyard is in a truly stunning and tranquil area, making it the ideal location for this relaxing treat for two (you and another). Straddling the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire border, your vine will be growing amid 100 acres of vineyards, open countryside and copses at this award-winning location. Your day out will include the following: Vine Adoption. A vine at this fantastic vineyard will be under your name for a whole year! You’ll receive a certificate of adoption and you and your guest will even be able to toast with a glass of wine your nameplate is erected. Entry to the Vineyards and Winery Tour. Fun and fascinating, an expert will take you on a tour around this beautiful and award-winning vineyard and winery. You’ll learn all about the winemaking process, from tending the vines to crushing the grapes, to stacking the bottles on supermarket shelves. The vineyard is also home to a diverse variety of wildlife, including ladybirds, woodpeckers and buzzards. Wine Tasting: You and your guest will have the chance to taste a variety of red and white wines, including some award-winning wines made at the right there at the gaff. An expert will be on hand to let you know all about the wines you are getting down you, as well as answering any questions you may have. Discounts at the Vineyard. This voucher will entitle you to a fantastic 10% discount on all wine purchases at the vineyard, as well as a 10% discount on bed and breakfast accommodation (available Sunday – Thursday). This voucher is valid for 10 months and is for two people. This voucher is valid for weekdays, with occasional weekend dates available at the supplier's discretion. You must book in with the supplier at least 2 weeks before the date you wish to attend. This experience includes a vine adoption, entry to the vineyard, winery tour and wine tasting session. You will also receive two bottles of wine to take home with you. This voucher entitles you to a 10% discount on all wines purchases from the vineyard and a 10% discount on bed and breakfast accommodation (available Sunday – Thursday). Additional meals, wines and activities are not included but may be arranged directly with the supplier. Suitable for over 18s only. Dates for this experience are subject to availability.
