Description
Scientists have discovered that tea actually tastes better when you are floating on a body of water. Great, because we’re offering you a delicious afternoon tea on the regal River Thames.

The Thames goes by many names. That Old Watery Lady. Big Splashy. Lord Love a Duck Lake. Those are three. But this majestic body of water needs lots of names. It’s lots of river, as you’ll discover when happily cruising along it.

Embarking on the luxury cruise liner the Naticia, you’ll drift passed some of the most iconic buildings and monuments on the globe. Including The Globe, where Shakespeare founded his famed fried chicken restaurant. The Houses of Parliament, where Guy Fawkes once attempted to open a friend chicken restaurant. And others.

And you won’t just be floating, looking and relaxing. There will be a certain amount of eating and drinking going on. The two of you will have a lovely afternoon tea laid out before you and, as long as it’s not too choppy, it’ll all be nicely separate and not a big watery mess in the middle of the table. So you’ll witness some of the nicest sights the capital has to offer, while scoffing sandwiches and swilling tea. What could be nicer? A puppy orchestra? This is nicer.

Enjoy history, masticating and floating? Really? You don’t look the type, but that’s ok, sign yourself up for this wonderful afternoon tea on the Thames.
What happens on the day?
Boarding (a boaty way of saying ‘getting on’) begins at 15:15hrs (quarter past three in the afternoon) with departure from Embankment Pier at 15:30hrs (fifteen minutes after the previous time). It is recommended that you arrive at 15:00hrs (three in the afternoon) to collect boarding (‘getting on’) passes from reception. The cruise route depends on tide times but you can expect to see most of the major Thames landmarks. During the cruise, your afternoon tea will be served before you return to Embankment Pier at 16:45hrs (nearly five) and disembark. The boat keeps to a strict timetable and latecomers will be unable to board the vessel, no matter how loudly you shout or much you cry).....
