This driving experience combines the best of two eras of motoring. First up, you’ll be driving a classic Aston Martin, renowned for its power, grace and presence on the silver screen. After that, you’ll be taming a young upstart, an Audi R8, fast, agile and full of stylish verve.
Both cars have had rave reviews over the years and you’ll be blown away by how beautifully they handle once you get them on the open road. We don’t want you to waste your first lap working out the best lines on the track, so your experience starts with a few passenger familiarisation laps.
As soon as you’re done riding shotgun with one of our expert instructors, it’s time for the main event. The order in which you drive the cars varies, but you’ll be whizzing off into the distance in one or the other before you know it!
Although both the Audi and the Aston Martin exist in the highest spectrum of sports cars, they’ll be completely different beasts to drive. One of the joys of this experience is therefore that you’ll be able to compare them side-by-side. What happens on the day?
Your driving experience will start with a briefing from one of our fully qualified ARDS driving instructors. You’ll then be taken on a few passenger laps to learn more about circuit driving techniques and to check out the lay of the land. In Oxfordshire, this will involve two laps in a Subaru Impreza STI; elsewhere, you’ll have three laps in a demo car. After that it’s time for the main event. You’ll be driving an Audi R8 or an Aston Martin for 4 to 6 laps each. You will then switch to the other car for a further 4 to 6 laps. Your experience will end with the presentation of an Individual Driving Certificate and Assessment from the instructor. You can expect the whole experience to last approximately 1 ½ hours.Notes
This voucher is valid for 10 months. Various dates are available through the year. If the driver's shorter than 5 feet tall, taller than 6'6" or weighs more than 16 stone, it might be tricky for them to take part. Drivers must be over the age of 18, and will need to present a full UK driving licence, which they must have held for at least one year. At most locations you will have the option of buying a collision damage waiver, for an additional charge per car, this charge will vary depending on location. At the Oxfordshire and Yorkshire locations a maximum of two spectators may attend free of charge (additional spectators may be pre-booked for an additional fee). Spectators must be aged 11 years or over. Spectators aged 11-16 years must be accompanied by a spectating adult.Locations are an indication only and may be subject to change.
