Description
The Audi R8 has a huge reputation in the world of motoring. This driving experience will give you all the track time you need to discover whether this machine lives up to its name. The number of laps you drive depends on which location you choose, but you’ll get a few solid miles to push this car to its limits. Have you got what it takes to handle 420 horsepower and an acceleration of 0-60mph in just 4 seconds?
Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear fame described the R8 as one of the truly great cars. He famously hesitated over awarding the coveted five-stars because, ideally, he’d have liked to give it six! With a waiting list that reads like a fantasy football team, the Audi R8 is pulling its weight on the manufacture line as well.
Your day will start with a quick introduction and safety briefing followed by a couple of passenger laps in one of our demonstration cars. This’ll get you familiarised with the circuit, but, with one of our expert instructors in the driving seat, is bound to be a thrill in itself.
After that, it’s time to experience the power and handling of this mighty machine for yourself.

What happens on the day?
Your specific itinerary will vary according to the circuit at which you choose to drive. However, the general layout of the day remains the same. Upon arrival, you’ll have a quick introduction and safety briefing to meet your instructors and learn a bit about circuit driving. After that, you’ll have a few passenger laps in one of our demo cards before getting behind the wheel of the Audi R8. At Leicestershire, you’ll have two passenger laps and then four driving laps of this 1.8 mile circuit. At Oxfordshire and Yorkshire, the track is about 0.75 miles long and you’ll have two demo laps followed by six driving laps. ....Terms & Conditions
This voucher is valid for 10 months. Drivers shorter than 5'0 or taller than 6'6 and/or weighing more than 16 stone may have some difficulty being accommodated, but we'll try - bring the shoehorn! You must be 18 or over and have held a full UK driving licence for at least a year. At Oxfordshire and Yorkshire a maximum of two spectators may attend free of charge (additional spectators may be pre-booked for an additional fee). Spectators must be aged 11 years or over. Spectators aged 11-16 years must be accompanied by a spectating adult. The driver will need to sign a disclaimer, accepting liability in the event of the car being damaged as a result of their negligence. Most locations will offer you the option of purchasing a collision damage waiver (CDW). This costs around £25 per vehicle and is completely optional. There's no obligation to buy the optional waiver. Please ask the operator when booking for further details if required.
