Off Road Driving Experience (Extended)
Take one of our hardcore 4x4’s out for a white-knuckle ride across some seriously challenging terrain.
We like to think of this experience as the ‘grown up’ version of a standard off-road driving encounter. You’ll be taking a 4x4 around an extremely tough course of manmade and naturally occurring obstacles. Do you have the nerves of steel and will of iron necessary to get yourself and the vehicle round in one piece?
You’ll start the day with a short in-car safety briefing. Your instructor will stay with you throughout the day, ready to offer some words of wisdom when you feel the car start to slide off that tricky side slope…
There’ll be a few other drivers in the car and you’ll portion the three hours of driving time between you. This gives you the chance to experience the totally different thrill of taking the back seat – out of control and in a treacherous situation. If the going gets tough, you might even be asked to throw your weight to the left or right to help the car stay balanced!
On this exciting off-road course you can expect to find all manner of obstacles, from mud-filled ruts through to water crossings, steep inclines and sharp ascents. Things are gonna get real bumpy.

What happens on the day?
Your experience starts with an introduction to your instructor and your vehicle. He or she will then give you a short briefing that will include safety guidelines and some advice on navigating the tougher parts of the course. Then, with your instructor in the passenger seat, it’s time for the off. You’ll be taking on everything from ruts, hill, ditches, mounds and a multitude of descents and ascents. You’ll be in the vehicle for approximately 3 hours, and will share the driving between the other passengers (two at most courses and three at Lincolnshire). There’s a certificate award ceremony at the end of the experience.Notes
This voucher is valid for 10 months. You'll need to pre-book this experience. Minimum age is 17. You must hold a full UK driving license. You must weigh 18 stone or less to take part. Minimum height is 5'0", maximum height is 7'0". There will be no more than 2 other participants on this experience with you (at Lincolnshire you will be sharing with three other participants). NB. At the Crewe location the experience will only last 3 hours if there are three participants in the vehicle. This experience might be cancelled in bad weather - we're sorry for any disappointment, but this is to make sure everyone is safe and has a great time.Locations are an indication only and may be subject to change.
