What happens on the day?
Each helicopter tour lasts for 30 minutes, and you’ll call the supplier directly to book. Enjoy a gentle ascent and smooth ride around your chosen area or attraction. Your pilot will provide commentary throughout so you know exactly what to look out for. Depart from Kemble for the Bath and Cotswolds tour; the Mid Wales Hills and Valleys tour departs from Welshpool. For Salisbury Plain and Stonehenge, depart from Thruxton. For the Angel of the North and Newcastle tour, you’ll depart from Newcastle itself. If you want to see Ironbridge and the Severn Valley, you’ll depart from Wolverhampton. Depart from Long Crendon for the Dreaming Spires of Oxford helicopter tour. The inverness tour departs from Inverness and Nairn airport, and the Snowdonia tour departs from Snowdonia. For the Kendal tour you’ll begin your ascent in Kendal, and the Isle of Wight tour departs from Hampshire. Phew!Notes
This voucher is valid for 10 months and is for one person. Contact the supplier directly to book your experience. All tours are available on selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year, subject to availability. The minimum age for this experience is 16 years. The maximum height is 6ft 6 and minimum height is 5ft. The maximum weight is approximately 14 stone however the supplier may be able to accommodate participants weighing more than 14 stone- please ask at time of booking. Please make sure you bring some ID with you, as well as proof of your address - this is just for security reasons. If you pick the St Ives location, you'll only be able to depart for one week in June and one week in August.Locations are an indication only and may be subject to change.
