Description
Your day will start with a safety briefing and a quick lesson in how to fly the craft. These machines are fast-moving and relatively agile, but you’ll both need to pay attention if you’re going to learn to make one do as you want.
Once you’re both happy with the controls and have an idea on how to make the craft start, turn corners and, most importantly, stop, we’ll let you loose on the Hover Track. This is a challenging course that’ll see you travelling over several different terrains at speed.
Your exact itinerary depends on which location you choose. Wherever you go, you’ll put your new skills to the test racing against each other, either in a relay or a pursuit race. After a few laps of the course, you’ll enter the Final Challenge – an exciting time trial to see how fast you can complete a lap.
What happens on the day?
Your day will start with a safety briefing, followed by a lesson in the art of hovercrafting. Once you’re ready to go, you’ll move to the Hover Track to take part in some races or time trials. Your itinerary depends on your location. If you go to Kent, you’ll race against each other and other participants and then have a time trial (with your final lap being recorded and entered into a competition). If you go to Leicestershire, your day will start by you tackling the obstacle course in your hovercraft and then continue with races against each other and other participants. This voucher is valid for 10 months. This voucher is for two people. This experience is available on selected Saturdays and Sundays at the Kent location and on selected dates at the Leicestershire location, all year round. Participants must be over 12 years of age at the Kent location and over 14 years at the Leicestershire location (here, the craft reach speeds of up to 40mph). You will share the course with between 10 and 14 people. No previous experience is needed.
