Ice Climbing
Rock climbing may be challenging, but how about scaling sheer ice ice, baby? If you’ve got nerves of steel, take on the ultimate test of fitness and agility. Whether you’re an experienced climber or new to the whole deal, these ice walls have something to offer everyone. Navigate crests, icicles and cracks as you make your way to the top. In total more than 300m² has been compacted to create these awesome ice walls, and each surface is kept at a constant -12°. Your course can be selected from a range of overhangs, canyons and steep slopes, depending on your ability. This is an experience for the seriously chilled out!

What happens on the day?
Your instructor will greet you and give you a safety overview. He or she will also brief you on essential techniques for ice climbing and get you set up in all the special climbing gear you’ll need. All instruction is conducted one-to-one with an expert. Each climb lasts 40 minutes at a minimum, and you can expect to be at the venue for around an hour and a half.Notes
This voucher is valid for 10 months. Participants must be a minimum 13 years old. Under 16s must be accompanied with an adult. All participants must be in reasonable health and able bodied. All tuition is on a one to one basis and there will be a maximum of 5 climbers per session. Participants are advised to wear loose fitting clothing and all specialist clothing and equipment will be supplied on the day.Locations are an indication only and may be subject to change.
