Description
The Porsche Cayman is a glorious beast of a car. Well-loved on racing circuits for the smoothness of its handling, this is one car you won’t forget driving for a while.
We want you to really shift when you get behind the wheel of the Porsche, so we do a couple of things to help you hit the ground running. First off, you’ll have a 25-minute safety briefing, where one our expert drivers will give you a few tips in the art of supercars.
Next up, you’ll jump in the passenger seat for three exhilarating laps with one of our instructors. These guys really know what they’re doing so this part of the experience will be a bit of an adrenaline rush in itself!
After the familiarisation session, it’s time for business. You’ll be driving four laps in the beautiful Porsche Cayman (which comes in at just over 9.3 miles). If you’ve never driven a sportscar before, this machine will blow you away. It has a top speed of 172mph, and, even more impressively, can deliver 0-60mph in just 5.4 seconds. And, because this car handles so well, you’ll be comfortable enough behind the wheel to push it to its limits.

What happens on the day?
Upon arrival and registration at the Thruxton Driving Centre, you’ll have a 25 minute safety briefing with a qualified instructor. Then you’ll be whisked out onto the track and into a Mazda 3 MPS for three thrilling passenger laps. After that, it’s time to get in the driving seat. You’ll have the chance to drive four laps of this exciting course in a Porsche Cayman. The whole experience should last about 1 hour. This voucher is valid for 10 months. You must have a full, valid UK driving licence, and you must bring it with you - don't bring a copy. This experience is available on selected weekdays only. You’ll be spending a lot of time outside so wear appropriate clothing but when driving you must wear long trousers, long sleeved top and thin soled narrow shoes as the pedals in racing cars are very close together. Minimum height 5’2” Maximum height 6’4”.
