You’ll get a chance to drive and muddy up either a Subaru WRX or a Mitsubishi Evo, which are like proper grown-up rally vehicles. Then a certified expert instructor will show you the ropes. This tends to be ‘don’t drive into tress and watch out for badgers’.
Once all that safety nonsense is out the way, you’ll get to go berserk behind the wheel yourself. You’ll get four laps to show the world: ‘You see, I could have made it as a rally driver. Why did I become a rally navigator? I wasted my life.’ After the rallying you will receive a driving certificate and a handshake, or possibly a stern shake of the head, from your instructor.
And then you’ll get to drive home. And it won’t feel the same. Nothing will feel the same. You’ll miss the bumps, you’ll miss the foliage. You’ll curse the car stereo that’s tuned to Heart. What happens on the day?
Your day, which will soon be known as ‘rally day’ begins with a welcome, introduction and briefing on rally techniques. Then you will get behind the wheel of the Subaru WRX or the Mitsubishi Evo rally car and have a bit of a practice for a lap at demonstration speed. Then you get to go crazy with the car (which you have dubbed ‘Fang’) on the rally stage. At the end of the experience you will receive an individual driving certificate, but somehow we’ll make this thrilling too. This voucher is valid for 10 months and is for one person. This voucher is valid on weekdays only. Dates for this experience are subject to availability. If you have a specific date in mind, feel free to call us on 020 8275 5256 to check it's available. If the driver's shorter than 5 feet tall, taller than 6'6" or weighs more than 16 stone, it might be tricky for them to take part. Participants must be 17 or over and must have a full UK driving licence. Extra driving and passenger rides can be purchased on the day. Sorry, this voucher can't be extended.
