Description
If you like to think of yourself as a bit of a pro behind the wheel, this course will make sure you live up to expectations. It will teach you how to cope with any kind of skidding situation, potentially saving the day should anything unpleasant happen to you while driving in the future.
Just imagine, you’re driving along and all is well. Then, suddenly, a tiny little kitten skips onto the road and you have to swerve to avoid it. You lose control of the car. Do you know what to do? If the answer’s ‘no’, this course will teach you the solution. (Kittens are not included in the voucher and we don’t recommend bringing your own).
A skid occurs when there’s a loss of traction between your car’s wheels and the ground. This causes a car to move uncontrollably, often until it hits something stationary. Using techniques that accurately simulate skidding you’ll find out what it feels like to lose control and then learn how to get it back.
Friends and family are welcome to come along as spectators and there is catering available. Although road safety is a serious issue, we believe making this an enjoyable course will encourage more people to learn how to successfully exit from a skid.

What happens on the day?
This two hour skidding course will teach you how to regain control of your car after it starts to skid. You are allowed to bring as many spectators as you like and there are catering facilities available. Please dress comfortably and expect to be behind the wheel for approximately 30 minutes of your skidding experience. ....Terms & Conditions
This voucher is valid for 10 months and is for one person. You must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months. Min/Max height: 5’2”/6’5” and max weight of 18 stone. This experience operates mostly Saturdays from February to November. Your whole experience will last for approximately two hours with 30 minutes personal driving time. The length of the driving time is an approximate time and should be used as a guide. Please arrive thirty minutes before your start time. You will share your car with up to two other participants.
