From the people who brought you the Zombie Shopping Mall comes the Zombie Manor House.

You’ve heard of Downton Abbey? Well get ready for Downton scabby! Boom! Oh yeah! That’s what I’m talking about. You like that pun? Get ready, because we’re barely on the launch pad sister.

Manor houses tend to be the domain of divorced weekend dads desperate to win over the love of their ambiguous offspring in a craven attempt to get one over on the woman they used to love. But no more. How about a manor house crammed to the bladder with angry, vitriolic zombies?

Something has gone very wrong in deepest, darkest Cheshire. And I’m not talking about Hollyoaks. A top secret government facility, housed in a spooky, abandoned manor house where they did weird experiments and stuff has suddenly dropped off the radar. The scientists have vanished and there have been reports of shuffling and groaning.

It’s up to you and the rest of ‘Grey Squadron’ to take instruction and investigate. But beware, as the facility has inexplicably been over-run with the undead, more interested in devouring fresh human brains than enjoying the exquisite tapestries of the East Wing, or trying the courgette quiche in the snack bar. It is down to you and the rest of the team to batter these re-animated blaggards back into Hades.

You’ll be trained in all aspects of zombie hurting by a large man who is adept at shouting. Once these techniques have been driven into your clammy little mind, you’ll be let loose in this home which will soon be less than stately. You’ll need all your skill, cunning and memories of numerous zombies films to survive and vanquish.

Upstairs and downstairs you’ll trawl the fearsome, abandoned halls, not knowing what lurks behind those ornamental balustrades and praying it isn’t one of those shuffling, unpatriotic goons of Satan. Over three hours, using weapons and hand-to-hand combat you’ll battle these vile, not quite dead monsters, who frequently litter, disregard parking ordinances and rarely vote.

If you hate the dead as much as I do, especially those obnoxious dead types who simply insist on coming back to life and trying to eat you, then grab a weapon, gird your loins and head to Cheshire for this spectacular zombie fighting experience in an abandoned manor house.

FAQ

Where is the Zombie Manor House and how do I get there?
It's in Warrington, Greater Manchester. It is about 25 minutes driving from the centre of either Liverpool or Manchester, and only 10 minutes from junction 20 of the M6. The postcode is WA4 4AG.

If you only travel by private jet, both Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport are within a half hour drive.

How many people can take part?
You can book for any number of people you like: from just one person through to a group of 16. On the day, there will be up to 16 people taking part. If you do have a larger group number however, please let us know and we will look into arranging a private event.

Do you take group bookings?
Some things are more fun in groups. We think Zombie Manor is one of them.

You can book up to 16 people - just update the 'Quantity' field up top next to "Add to Basket".

Alternatively, email us and we'll help you get booked in

When does it run?
The Manor Zombie experience is available on Saturdays and Sundays every 2 weeks throughout the year.

What time does it start and finish?
As of November 2013, 3 sessions will run per day - 9.30am, 12.30pm and 3.30pm.

To book a specific date, order your ticket now & you'll receive a unique activation code. This lets you choose the date you want to take part.

Are there any extra costs on the day?
No, none at all. Everything you need to battle zombies is included. Any extras (like video recordings) are completely optional, and won't effect your odds of surviving the zombie apocalypse.

What weapons will we use and what happens?
During the first session you’ll meet with a team of Police firearm specialists who will provide you with airsoft weapons and give you basic training on how to use them to stay alive! During this 2-2.5 hour military operation session you’ll be part of a story which unfolds in real time.

What should I wear?
Please bring suitable clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Do I need to be fit? Will I get hurt?
This event is physical in nature and therefore requires that participants all have a reasonable level of fitness. Any underlying medical conditions must be discussed with the organisers when booking. This experience involves live action horror and gore and as is therefore not suitable for anyone of a nervous disposition.

The zombies may jump on you, murmur ‘brains’ and hold you down, but not in a manner whereby you will get hurt. There is no fighting or violence. Not on our watch.

Not sure if it's right for you? We suggest a delicious spa day instead...

Is it suitable for women and children?
It is suitable for women. The minimum age to take part is 16 years old.

Is there somewhere to get food & drink?
Water will be provided but you're advised to bring your own snacks.

Genuinely scary, intense and good fun!

I had no idea what to expect when I arrived at the remote Manor. The story and events of the day are very well protected. I wouldn't want to spoil things but rest assured - this is genuinely scary, properly intense, expertly paced and amazing good fun. Get this booked now for ANYONE who loves zombie films, zombie video games or zombie television shows. You don't have to be a geek, and you don't have to be a young wannabe soldier. Everyone can and should give this a go! Great present and great day out.

Holy mother of all things awesome

I'm not a wuss by any stretch of the imagination, well... that's what I thought before I went to the Zombie Manor House!

I don't think I've ever been THAT girly before... I mean, seriously - I was jumping and screaming a heck of a lot.

I don't want to give anything away, but regardless of whether you're into horror, zombies or geeky things; you will enjoy this!

Good to know I can outrun the undead at least!!!
